Stanford Training Services
Stanford was the first in the sector to invest in an in-house training centre to provide services that previously simply did not exist.
Stanford Training Services was formed in 2001 to deliver a trained and competent workforce, and now deliver NVQs and training courses ensuring Stanford personnel remain compliant and competent in all facets of the specialised flooring industry.
Stanford is committed to CSCS and is working toward 100% compliance via assessment: its entire workforce completes the appropriate NVQ to obtain CSCS cards rather than using the industry accreditation route!
Stanford is also leading the first apprenticeship scheme for the in-situ floorlayer. With the help of NSAC and Construction Skills, Stanford is establishing a scheme to aid recognition of the occupation and demonstrate that a skilled and rewarding career lies before those joining the sector.
