Training

Delivering a trained and competent workforce

Stanford was the first in the sector to invest in a centre of excellence to provide CITB, CSCS and ACIFC approved training and assessment services.

Stanford Training Services was formed in 2001 to deliver a trained and competent workforce. They continue to deliver Health & Safety qualifications, trade specific NVQs, a multitude of training courses as well as full ‘card-carrying’ accreditation competences. This ensures Stanford personnel remain 100% compliant and competent in all facets of the specialised flooring industry.

Achieving complete compliance

Stanford is committed to CSCS and continues to attain 100% compliance via NVQ assessment. Plant operator training and assessment also follows recognised CPCS and ACIFC standards helping to achieve an envious record when it comes to LTI’s and accident reporting.

Stanford ability to demonstrate competence in the workforce is unique in their sector, largely down to their attitude and commitment when it comes to the training and qualification of the experienced site teams.

Sustainability

Stanford continues to invest in on-going development and sustainability training, helping our business use best practice to identify and prioritise environmental and social issues. It is essential to Stanford that we meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This process starts with the detailed design, material specification and efficient construction process through to aiming for zero defects and continued low maintenance throughout the life of the floor.

Stanford successfully integrate environmental sustainability into our business operations through minimising waste, re-use and re-cycling of materials, control and management of storage operations, responsible sourcing of all products and adopting the principles of continuous monitoring and improvement
